Greetings at https://messedo.com. Messedo’s Privacy Policy explains how Messedo collects, uses, protects and otherwise acts with information that refers to Messedo’s and Messedo’s Portal Services. Purpose of the Privacy Policy The Privacy Policy is part of the Terms of Service and incorporated into the Terms of Service (hereinafter the “Terms”). Messedo recognizes that when a User provides to Messedo the information about himself/herself and his/her contacts that a User trusts to Messedo to operate with and act in a responsible manner with the information provided. Before User can start using the services that Messedo offers on the Portal or otherwise, User has to register with Messedo and provide User’s log-in, password, e-mail address, User’s name and other contact information. This information is needed for identification the User, communication with the User regarding User’s account and activity on or through the Portal.

Log file(s) information is automatically reported by User’s browser or device he/she connects with the Portal each time when User accesses the Services. When User operates on the Portal in his/her account or through the Portal in regards to Messedo’s Services, Messedo’s servers automatically record certain log file(s) information. These server logs may include information such as User’s web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, pages and URLs, clicks and other information in regards to interaction with the Services, domain names, and other such information.

Messedo uses cookies on certain pages of its Services. Cookies may enable Messedo to relate User’s activity of Messedo’s Services to personally identify information that User previously submitted. The information that Messedo may collect with cookies allows to statistically analyze Services usage, to improve products and services, to improve promotional efforts. User can reset its web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Services may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled. Messedo may also use third-party vendors to show ads for Messedo on web-sites across the internet. These third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on visitor’s previous visits to Messedo's website.

Messedo may send to User(s) e-mails containing notification, verification, price-changes updates, billing and balance information, newsletters, product offerings. If a User does not want to receive promotional or product offerings e-mails he/she may send this request to support@messedo.com. For e-mails in regards to the Services provision like verification, price-change update, balance information, the only way to opt-out is to terminate User’s account with Messedo.

Messedo in anyway will not share, sell, rent or otherwise disclose any of the personally identifiable information that is collected about User(s), except when Messedo has User’s permission or in any of the following situations: a) Messedo may disclose information about User(s) as part of a merger, acquisition or other sale or transfer of its assets or business. Messedo does not guarantee that any entity receiving such information in connection with one of these transactions will comply with all terms of this policy. b) Messedo may be legally required to disclose information about User(s) to the government or to third parties under certain circumstances, such as in connection with illegal activity on Messedo’ Services and/or Messedo’s Portal to respond to a subpoena, court order or other legal process.

User may use his/her account settings to control the activity associated with User’s account, such as messages, contact information and otherwise in regards to the Services Be aware that any messages transmitted via the Services may be accessible to certain third-party organizations, such as mobile networks and SMS gateway services or related partners or networks and otherwise that may be used to transmit the messages. These organizations may have their own policies and security measures controlling who has access to messages transmitted through their services. Messedo’s employees and contractors generally do not have access to view messages or contact information associated with User’s account. However, certain authorized employees have access to view some data associated with User’s account, activity in regards to the Services, profile settings, log files, services provided, summary reports and statistics.

Messedo uses SSL/TLS to encrypt the information that is operated and sent between User device and/or server(s) and Messedo’s portal and server(s). It is done to secure User’s data. Messedo also undertakes all measures to protect the User’s data collected against unauthorized access. User’s data is secure and accessible through the Messedo Portal and Services only via User accounts verified with a password, API key, or other secure credential. If someone attempts to log in with an invalid password multiple times for the same User account in a short time interval, the User account will automatically be locked for a short period of time in order to prevent automated selection of User’s password. Users may also enable two-factor authentication via one-time password sent in SMS to User’s mobile telephone number. Users may also enable a whitelist of internet protocol (IP) addresses which are allowed to access their data. However, User is better to keep in mind that this Service and Messedo’s services are run on software, hardware and networks, any component of which may, from time to time, require maintenance or experience problems or breaches of security beyond Messedo’s control. Please also be aware that despite Messedo’s best actions and operations as well as instructions in this Privacy Policy, no data transmission over the Internet or encryption method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Messedo currently stores and processes information collected through the Services on servers located in the European Union. Messedo may transfer information that is collected of a User, including personal information, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from User’s country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. Messedo ensures that data transfers comply with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Chapter 5: "Transfers of personal data to third countries or international organisations" If you are located in regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from Ukraine, European Union, please note that Messedo may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as User’s jurisdiction. User consents to the transfer of information to any country in which Messedo or its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities and to the use and disclosure of information about User as explained in this Privacy Policy.

User may correct and/or update information collected about the User by signing in to Messedo Portal to edit his/her account settings. User also may contact Messedo at support@messedo.com. Messedo may retain original and updated data or information for reasons such as technical constraints, dispute resolution and agreement enforcement. User can also stop receiving promotional email communications from Messedo by conctacting support@messedo.com. Messedo’s efforts to promptly process all unsubscribe requests are in high priority in regards to the customer care policy.

If User wants to delete and disable cookies he/she should address to its browser’s information or mobile device and follow the instruction there indicated. Disabling cookies and/or other tracking tools prevents Messedo or its business partners from tracking User browser's activities in relation to the Services. Meanwhile, acting so may disable some or many of the features available through the Services. If User has any questions about disabling of the collection of cookies and other tracking/recording tools, he/she may contact support@messedo.com as well.

Messedo stores User’s Content until a User deletes it using the functionality provided in the Messedo Services or Portal or via contacting support@messedo.com and following respective verification process. After deleting User Content from the Messedo Portal and/or Services, Messedo reserves a right to retain User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. In no case shall this time be greater than 1 year following deletion of the User Content or termination of the User account.

Messedo reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please visit this page periodically so that to be updated of any changes. We will mark Updated date in the footer of the page in cases of material changes or updates of the Privacy Policy. User’s continuing or continued use of the Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy applied will its acceptance of such changes.
